Had had just come off very impressive performances at the Gary Player Classic!
Josh, Yuuki and Kai recorded rounds of 71, even par, but with three rounds to go they will need to keep their minds on the job to maintain their slender lead given they have some serious competition within striking distance (as seen on the results app) with the aim of putting pressure on to test the leading pack!
The Tour would like to thank Peregian Golf Course on behalf of everyone that took part, from the juniors and their families for generously sponsoring round one, and their staff who did a spectacular job with their course and facilities.
We would also like to thank our mobile scorers and marshals for helping make the day a great success, your input and support was very much appreciated and certainly helped make the day run smoothly.
Full results can be found on The Invincibles App.
Some highlights on day one were, Yuuki Takada’s excellent approach to 9 to set up a birdie, Kai Komulainen and Ben Duncombe’s second shots into 9 set up eagle putts, but ended up with birdies as did Justice Bosio, all up the whole group had birdies, Josh Holbrook’s 20 and 25 metre putts from off the greens on two holes for birdies, Samara Dryden’s chip in on 7 for birdie, Baxter Smith’s up & down on 12, Jordy McGarry’s pitch from the trees for birdie on 2, Poppy Harrington driving the par four 15th to finish with a birdie and Aspen Sugars chipping in on 17 for birdie which were just a few of the many highlight on day one at Peregian Golf Course.
The Tour looks forward to heading to Twin Waters tomorrow for round two to see who’s going to make their presence felt.
